Though the divorce of Madonna and Ritchie happened in London recently after their eight years of marriage, Madonna topped the first place and came out with flying colors in 2008 US concert league. “I’m sad about my personal life, but I feel very blessed and very lucky that I have the opportunity to do what I do in my professional life,” she told AP. She added: “It would be horrible if I was just thinking about getting a divorce and had nothing to do.” Madonna was very thankful to her work load which helped her in a way to succeed among her personal sadness.
According to music trade publication Pollstar, Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet show has fetched a very high earning of $281.6m (£193m), thereby making the show as a biggest selling tour by a solo artist Her US tour for the concert has brought a great unparalleled success to her.
