Ancient Indian theatres and Chinese theatres are the best example for the eastern theatres. Other countries like Korea, Japan have developed the theatres in the 17^th century. There is another important theatre named Puppet Theatre. It is one of the most famous theatres. What’s Puppet Theatre? They normally have puppets and shadow plays. They cantered the Muslim history and live passion plays of it made success all over the world. They preached the Islam and they also introduced some new literatures. Next we will be going to see a lot about technical theatres. The present world is full of technical theatres. They will be having digital sound systems, well sophisticated auditorium for audience and much more. The important figures in these theatres are directors, actors and script writers. The script writers are those who develop the powerful scripts with lots of interesting characters. Actors will do the acting either in front of the audience or via films as we call it cinema now. Directors are those who combine script and acting. They are the backbone for the entire act. It is the place where people can share their things like dance, drama, music or anything to large group of audience. Resources tell that it is as old as dawn of man. Since then they have attained several developments. They used to utilize other performing arts like dance, music, speech and much more like visual arts to give an artistic form. Let’s see in detail about the theatre here. History of theatre is more than 4000 years. Before 2000 BC it is believed that religious festivals for God Osiris are done and it is the beginning of theatrical performance. Both Egypt and Greece having the world’s oldest civilizations are the origin for theatres. The performers will used to do comedy or tragedy scripts and will perform them in front of the audience. Later many made acting as a profession and since then theatre and drama are existing. From the 16th century several other forms of theatre were developed. These theatres were called western theatre and its origin was form Rome, Italy, Spain and France. There are lots of interesting facts about the theatres.

Here the types of competitions are discussed. First is competitive dance. Here theatrical dance styles will be performed by the artists. Some of the styles are jazz, hip hop, ballet and so on. The second one is open competition. Here all varieties of dance are performed. Some of the TV programs are conducting open competitions and it will be a fine example. The third one is dance sport. Ballroom dance and Latin dance are mainly focused here. Single style dances are nothing but the group dance and Irish dance. Next we will be discussing about dance studies and techniques. The first necessary thing is choreography. It is the art of creating dances. Those who create dance are called choreographer. The year 1920 is the beginning of studies about dances in academic discipline. The dance studies include dance practice, critical theory, history and musical analysis. Today in many universities, they become the vital part of the humanities and arts programs. Later practical research is being done in this field. Some of the main courses are professional practice of performance and technical skills, choreography and performance research, dance movement therapy and much more. The study of dance related aspects is Ethno choreology. Some of the aspects are cultural studies, area studies, gender studies and much more.

The reason for the success of the dance is it was believed as the origin of love making. It was used as a medium to express the feelings to the opposite gender. It is scientifically proved that a good dance can seduce the opposite sex. This was followed generation after generation. As time moved on new forms and styles added its attraction and it was reason behind the success of dance. Dance and music are said to be twins. In most occasions they both served their part together. Even in the ancient times both dance and music are performed together. Some of the forms in which dance and music served together are jig, tango, disco, eloctronica and much more. A dance competition is held to see who is best in dancing. The contestants will perform and there will be judges to judge their performance. Oldest paintings in India and Egypt are the proof for the age. In the ancient times dance is mainly used to convey the message to others. Greek civilization is considered as the oldest civilization. They have great respect and strong feeling in the animal form. This shows their extended knowledge of art and culture. Likewise other civilizations like Gothic, middle ages have extended their knowledge of art in developing churches. A type of art said to be eastern art developed the style of developing external colors to the objects. Indian, Tibetans, Japanese arts are said to be eastern arts. The present trend of art in the world is said to be modern art. This is said to be one of the complex art at present. Music is used for many occasions such as parties, movies etc. It is composed and performed for many purposes like ceremonies, festivals and so on. There are several types of music composers. Some of them will compose music for their own purpose and it will not be officially known to all. There are trained professionals who will compose music for contracts, films music schools and so on. The amateur musicians will get training for the professionals. They even combine with the professionals to perform in orchestras. There are four main things in music production like composition, notation, improvisation and theory. Composition is creation and recording of music. What the musician wants to perform will be composed in prior and it will be used by him whenever it is needed. Notation is the written expression of music. There will be music notes and rhythms which will keep a record set and musicians can use any of it. It will be mostly used in music schools. Improvisation is introducing new concepts periodically by the performers. The final thing is the theory that is involved in it. It is the pattern for any type of music. The musical techniques are governed by this theory.

Fine arts are the important among all the arts. There are some basic things used in arts. They are said to be drawing, painting and architecture. Let’s have a detailed look about them. What we call drawings? A drawing is said to be making of image. Various tools and techniques for developing drawing are there and it is very necessary to know about them. I think there is no necessary to tell in detail about drawing as everyone will be aware of it. The nest important thing to be concerned is architecture. The word architecture is derived from the Latin word Architecture and Greek meaning of this is a master builder. It is defined as art and science is designing buildings and structures. In detail we can say architecture as design of an environment which is totally built and it may be from building to furniture. The most important factor here is it should address both feasibility and cost so that it will be easier for the designer to design it. The third and most interesting fact of art is painting. I’m sure that there will be no one in the world who regrets painting as it can depict a lot of feelings.

There are two types of music available, if we consider a broad classification. One is western music and other is Non-Western music (both are fascinating in their own fields). The Non-Western music is also called as classical music. There are different eras of western music. They are medieval era, renaissance era, baroque era and romantic era. Each era led to development of styles in the western music. The medieval era is said to be the beginning of western music. They developed sacred music and church music. The next era named renaissance music developed composers and singers for musical compositions. The third era named baroque era developed some musical instruments like strings and pipes for composing music. 19^th century is termed as romantic era where more dramatic music is produced. The composers are interested in developing music with emotional and expressive qualities during this era. Later part of 19^th century grew orchestra and concerts. The latest development of western music is Jazz and Rock music. They were introduced in the 20^th century and the instruments like saxophones, guitar are used to produce these music. They also have lots of varieties in it like blues rock, heavy metal, melody and much more.
